Elephants on Parade

There's some sort of old law in NYC around the transport of animals. As a part of it, the Ringling Brothers Circus must walk the large animals through the city to its Madison Square Gardens venue. So, yes, once a year, in the middle of the night, elephants roam the city. It draws quite a crowd. The Elephant Walk has become a city tradition.
