For those who think I'm dead, rest assured I'm not. I was just away from internet access for a few days. I needed a breather. I suspect I still do, but the world doesn't stop spinning when you wish, apparently.
I'm catching up. I'll get back to people eventually.
I've been catching up on film this weekend. My friend and I saw "Sicko" and "Ratatouille". I recommend both. I think "Sicko" is one of Moore's best so far (his last left me a little disappointed). And "Ratatouille" is just plain fun, with some wonderful performances. Next on the list is "Evening", which will be soon.
Not much else to report. I hope everyone has good plans for the 4th (including staying in and catching up on shut-eye, if that's what's desired). I'm going to a late show (starts at 10) with some friends and we'll play it by ear afterward.

- I'm a jazz musician (vocal), happy wife (yay!) and a non-traditional, slaving student (and loving it). I have a strong background in musical theatre, but most recently spent about a decade working in high tech, though I'm not your typical geek (not saying I'm not a geek, just different). I constantly feel the need for growth and learning new things. I am looking forward to being on both sides of that process as a teacher. I think once someone feels he has achieved perfection is the moment he stops feeling the need to strive for it and, thus, stops learning. I hope to never lose that internal drive. (I'm also the queen of parenthetical statements).
