Today is the first time here that the cold has really gotten to me. Ordinarily, yeah, cold... it's cold, but I bundle up in my winter coat, grumble a little and think, "At least it's not summer!"... life goes on. Now, however, I am sick. I have a horrible head cold. My sinuses would love to be draining, but they seem to be frozen inside my face... oh, until I walk into a warm room and, well, anything for a Kleenex.
It's very weird. I went out for a really good workout yesterday morning. Came home, felt great, all was lovely then, SMACK, it felt like I'd walked into a small room with 50 cats (to which I'm allergic)-- and all of them sitting on my head. Very odd-- there was not even a hint of feeling it beforehand. I woke up feeling great. No tickle in the throat, no unexplained exhaustion, nada. Then again, how often am I normal?
So, yeah, cold, sick, crabby. It could still be worse. It could be summer.
